Witnesses told authorities that an armed man walked into the bank and demanded $100 bills.
“It was crazy. It happened so fast,” said one customer.
The robber threatened to shoot people if he didn’t get his money, according to witnesses.
Nubia Hennington was inside the bank buying a money order. She said she was just 10 feet away from the gunman.
“He came in and told everyone to get down on the floor,” said Hennington. “He says if you don’t give me $100 bills I’m going to shoot this lady.”
Jennifer Ruiz was also inside the bank.
She left the bank in tears while her mother-in-law, who was traumatized by what she saw, left the bank on a stretcher.

“This man comes in here with a gun and fires once and cussing people out, telling us if we look at him he’s going to blow our heads off,” Ruiz said.
Authorities said the thief fired into the ceiling when the teller didn’t give him the money fast enough.
“By that time, I thought it could be me, it could be any of us at that point. I started to pray and hope everything goes well,” said Hennington.
The search is on for Tuesday’s thief who got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A woman dubbed the "Grandma Bandit" held up the same bank a couple of weeks ago. She was later arrested.
In October 2008, the so-called “Point Blank Bandit” also robbed the bank. He placed a gun against an employee and threatened to shoot.
